Carolina Mancuso is an Argentinian born/Italian national artist, currently based in The Hague (NL).

Until the age of 15 she studied in Buenos  Aires (ARG) at the ‘’Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón’’ and with Katty Gallo and Raúl Candal in the ‘’Centro Cultural Borges de Julio Bocca’’.

Thanks to a 3 year scholarship she continued with with her dance studies at the ‘’The Hamburg Ballet School of John Neumeier’’.

After graduating and working for four years with the Hamburg Ballet, her thirst to continue learning guided her to the Nederlands Dans Theater, where her career as a ballet dancer was given a big twist.

During her 6 years in NDT 1 and 2, Carolina danced a vast repertoire and was part of many creations of highly renowned choreographers: Jiri Kylian, Ohad Naharin, Marco Goecke, Stijn Celis, Johan Inger, Alexander Ekman, Crystal Pite, Paul Lightfoot and Sol Leon amongst others.

In 2011 choreographer Marina Mascarell commissioned Carolina to design the costumes for her piece ''Today your Black Shoes are Grey’’ (premiered in Korzo Theater). This was a life changing opportunity.

She was able to continue studying thanks to the incredible support from the Omscholing Dansers Nederlands. Parallel to her dance carrer she studied with different textile artist such as: Shingo Sato, Ricarda Assmann, Cherilyn Martin, Irit Dulman, Fiona Duthie, Gladys Paulus, Lucille de Smit Wong among others.

From August 2013 onwards she began her career as a freelance dancer and costume designer, working with high ranking choreographers of today’s contemporary dance scene: Joeri Dubbe, Marina Mascarell, Jiří Pokorný, Jasper van Luijk, Antonin Comestaz, among others.

Carolina’s interest in identifying her own contemporary dance class began in August 2014. She spent more than 6 months researching the body's adaptability.
‘Entropy’ Contemporary Dance Classes was born.

She currently teaches ‘Entropy’ in different parts of the globe such as: ‘Aterballetto -Fondazione Nazionale della Danza’’ (Italy), ‘Tsoying Senior High School’ (Taiwan),’The School of Dance in Taipei National University of the Arts’ (Taiwan), ‘Erice Danza’ (Italy),  ‘Tanz! International Festival’ (Germany), ‘Verba - 1er Encuentro Internacional de Danza Emergente’ (Argentina), ‘Meteorite Dance Festival’ (RU), Korzo Theater, ‘International Open Look Festival’.
